  • In Mississippi, the legislature enacted a 50 cents per pack cigarette SET increase in 2009. In 2010, the state proposed an additional increase of 50 cents per pack and also proposed to raise the large cigar SET from 15% to 22.5% of the wholesale price, however, these proposals failed.
