Thanks to the support and actions of concerned citizens across the state, the New Hampshire legislature passed HB 2, which included the tobacco tax rollback proposal.
Effective July 1st, New Hampshire’s cigarette excise tax rate was reduced to $1.68/pack while the excise tax on smokeless and other tobacco products was reduced by approximately 26%
